Observes base station monitors and identifies life threatening arrhythmias or changes in patient¿s rhythm.
Notifies responsible RN of changes in patient¿s cardiac rhythm.
Documents telemetry strips every shift and any changes in cardiac rhythm on patient¿s record.
Evaluates and answers patient alarms through arrhythmia detection system.
Interfaces with detection system and adjust parameters.
Test alarms every shift for proper functioning.
Maintains patient¿s telemetry printout during a ¿code¿.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
