Our Outside Sales are responsible for generating and developing business from loan applicants with a variety of financial needs. The successful candidate needs to possess strong communication skills and a willingness to be a road warrior.
The Retail Branch Sales Department handles the origination and development of mortgage loan applicants, whether it be through company sponsored marketing campaigns or through self generation. The Department will be responsible for direct customer communication throughout the loan process, and will be focused on diligently meeting the customers various wants and needs. High energy, quick thinking, and a drive to exceed expectations are qualities that make up the Retail Branch Sales Department staff.
Essential Job Functions:
o Maintains sales contact and pipeline throughout the entire loan process.
o Responsible for generating business through the effective use of leads strategies and self-generation.
o Contacts potential customers via face-to-face to help determine the best loan for their needs.
o Responsible for structuring, presenting and selling the loan to their customers.
o Collects required borrower information to recommend appropriate products or programs.
o Regularly follows up with potential applicants via telephone, email, written correspondence, and face-to-face to ensure each applicant understands each program.

Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Five (5) years of sales relevant experience preferred
Minimum two (2) years experience in mortgage sales
Experience using Data Track preferred
Experience using Encompass preferred
Specific Knowledge Requirements:
Knowledge of computers and related computer software such as Word, Excel, etc.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Knowledge of negotiation, sales, and closing skills.
This job will require a criminal background and credit check.

Must be able to demonstrated time and task management (multi-tasking) to meet multiple and often short deadlines.
