The primary function of this position is to accurately record all the residential mortgage loan HMDA data. Due to the highly regulated nature of the mortgage business, this individual is responsible for ensuring that our HMDA data is recorded properly, accurately, timely, and according to regulations. An ideal candidate will have experience with the collection of HMDA data and will be able to juggle numerous tasks, be detail oriented, and work well independently and under pressure. The secondary function of this position will be to support the loan shipping area so that loans sold on the secondary market are shipped and funded in a timely manner.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Accurately complete and review HMDA processing sheets and enter HMDA data into HMDA screens in Encompass.
•Cross reference HMDA data on the HMDA sheet with the loan file to ensure accuracy.
•Ensure that the HMDA information entered into the loan processing system, Encompass, is accurate and complete.
•Export the HMDA data information into the FDIC HMDA software on a monthly basis.
•Audit the export file to ensure all data was transferred properly.
•Run pipeline reports and cross reference reports to the HMDA LAR to ensure all required loans are reported.
•Quarterly, communicate with the commercial lending group and obtain HMDA LAR data for loans that were completed by that group.
•Review and scrutinize our declined and withdrawn files to ensure that each file has been coded properly and are recorded on the HMDA LAR.
•Submit the LAR to the regulatory agency on a yearly basis.
•Provide back up support for the Secondary Market Shipping function. This includes submitting the closed loan file to our investor, scanning documents into the encompass system, uploading documents into the Bank imaging system- Nautilus, reconciling funds received from investors, submitting paperwork to loan servicing, and reviewing loan documentation.
•Track, clear and upload all suspense items from all investors within time frame given
•Ability to learn Banks Encompass processing system
•Experience with working scanners and .pdf and .tif files.

•Applicant must be very detail oriented, be able to learn new concepts quickly and comfortable with working with imaged files.
•2-3 years of experience working with mortgage HMDA data required.
