We are currently seeking an outstanding Motion Graphics Designer to join a small creative team in bringing college courses to life by combining raw digital film footage, animation, and other new media elements to tell stories that meet strict content and regulatory requirements. Location: San Francisco

Design compelling and relevant motion graphics and animations for education segments to enhance student experience, motivation, and conceptual understanding

Utilize software including Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Studio, and 3D Animation to produce a high volume of high-quality product in very fast turn-around times

Adhere to project timelines for the rapid delivery of innovative projects, meeting critical deadlines for completing graphics and meeting quality standards

Work on multiple projects simultaneously, juggling tasks effectively

Collaborate closely with producer cinematographer, animator, game designers, Instructional Designers, educators, and other departments to meet business and academic goals

Maintain an efficient project based file system

Adapt quickly to a rapidly changing, fast-paced educational environment

Respond to student outcomes measurements with exciting, creative graphic techniques in order to continuously improve student experience and performance

Continuously increase knowledge of field in order to recommend new approaches and/or revisions in collaboration with business and academic teams

Communicate with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, maintaining good will and providing or obtaining information as appropriate

Handle administrative tasks and paperwork related to course production

Perform other duties, as assigned

Motion Graphic Designer Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Film, or Digital Art required

4-6 years’ experience required, including post-production experience in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work with facility on a Macintosh system required

Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Studio, and 3D Animation required

Hands-on motion graphics design experience in a fast-paced environment required

Experience producing projects that combine film, animation, and other new media techniques required

A strong reel of projects that combine film, animation, and other new media techniques is required

Candidates will be asked to demonstrate technical competencies as part of the interview process
