This position is established in order to operate and perform operator maintenance on straight-in-line trucks, tractor trailers, and motor coaches for the Facilities Directorate, Motor Transport Department, Vehicle Operations Division, Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC.
You must be a US Citizen.

Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
This position is a Drug Testing Designated Position (TDP).
Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Operate straight-in-line trucks, tractor trailers, and motor coach buses over public roads at highway speeds in all traffic and weather conditions.
Direct and arrange cargo loading, ensuring load distribution and security.
Safely maneuver large and oversized vehicles in narrow or congested areas.
Perform operator maintenance as required on motor vehicles and all equipment operated.
Assume operational supervision in the absence of the Motor Vehicle Operator Supervisor.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to do the work of a Motor Vehicle Operator without more than normal supervision such as: O perating and maintaining straight-in-line trucks, truck tractors with full or semi-trailers with a GVW of more than 32,000 lbs; loading, unloading, arranging, and securing cargo in and on the trailers to ensure that the load is balanced and the vehicle is not overloaded; maneuvering large and oversized vehicles in narrow or congested areas ?
