MSW Clinical Practice Specialist - Care Management-122154
The MSW Clinical Practice Specialist for Care Management will be accountable for education, program development, standard work and implementation to support knowledge and skills of social work clinical staff.
You will bring your Social Work knowledge and skills for the following: Develop training to support key initiatives in quality/redesign/practice improvement within the clinical practice of Social Work. Ensure that operational managers understand the scope and practice of Master Level Social Workers. Support the development of clinical pathways for social work staff and provide clinical supervision for social work staff. Support the quality assurance and clinical outcomes for social work staff. Support implementation of strategies to recruit and retain clinical staff in Care Management; provides consultation and leadership to clinical teams in the orientation, training, and selection of new employees; in collaboration with assigned Team Manager. Along with Team Manager implement strategies to achieve, monitor, and evaluate clinical, service and regulatory targets; support team manager in achieving desired performance of clinical staff.
This position will provide clinical supervision to social work staff including social work licensure candidates in Primary Care and Specialty, Urgent Care, and Group Health Hospital Unit settings.
Minimum Education Requirements
Graduate from an accredited Masters of Social Work program.
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Clinical expertise in team & program development; verbal and written communication; clinical practice in ambulatory care settings, teaching; group facilitation; program evaluation; individual and group skills assessment; adult learning theory & practice required; computer skills required.
Minimum Experience Requirements
3 years Clinical practice working in Primary Care, Specialty Care, and/or Urgent Care in an inpatient and/or outpatient setting.
Experience mentoring Medical MSW's and creating training programs.
Minimum License/Certifications Requirements
At time of hire Washington State MSW: LICSW or LASW
Will need to obtain Approved Supervisor Licensed Social Worker affidavit per Washington State Department of Health Social Worker Credentialing WAC 246-809-334 when required to supervise Social Workers for licensure.
