Design and produce media including info-graphics, illustrations, photography, and web design and development. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive knowledge of and experience with educational/instructional technology, software, and multimedia development. This person should have the ability to employ informed experimentation and creative design in the production of new and aesthetically pleasing artwork, layouts, graphics, etc. to meet the teaching, learning or communication needs of the client. Experience should include a strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (CS6), Google apps, HTML5 development, LMS platforms, and CSS; and familiarity with any of the following associated topics: scripting languages (JavaScript), streaming video platforms, content management systems such as Drupal and WordPress, SCORM, content curation, and metadata and organization.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies:

The ideal candidate should have experience and education in instructional technology, instructional design, delivery methods of instruction, and technology-based training methodologies. They should also have knowledge of group/team facilitation; strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills with a customer service focus that enables easy collaboration. They must have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. The ability to research current trends and industry standards in educational and communications platforms and recommend technology solutions for content creation and delivery is desired. This individual should be highly productive, organized and be able to manage multiple projects at one time. A design portfolio with work examples is requested.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalency and two years of visual/graphic arts experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Preferred: Bachelor degree with instructional technology background and/or demonstrated experience in education/training involving instructional technology.
