The Multimedia Developer is responsible for working with Business Development/Marketing to provide an underlying technology roadmap for the delivery of visual communications, innovative multimedia, streaming technology, electronic commerce, and interactive marketing features and functionality. Additional responsibilities entail 1) Functioning as the company’s webmaster, to ensure that our internet presence and electronic communications promote the company image as an exemplary, professional, and technologically innovative health care industry provider; 2) Focus on the design, development, and support of ongoing technology projects, including interfaces, architecture, interactive techniques, and web services.
This position reports directly to the AVP Application Development. The Multimedia Developer will work directly with the business systems analysts, project managers, database administrators, Compliance and other team members, as well as business process specialists from the business areas. The Multimedia Developer is able to perform all aspects of the position with additional responsibilities including but not limited to those outlined below.
Primary enabler of internet-based solutions, with emphasis placed on interactive media and systems, e-commerce solutions, visual communications, web site design and development, web marketing systems, web development, and process automation.
Research, evaluate, maintain, and expand emerging technology trends in interactive and multimedia technology to ensure that the company remains current in its understanding of the strategic potential of technology to support its evolving internet strategy.
Functioning as the primary ‘enabling owner’ of company’s Internet and Intranet sites with specific responsibilities focused on content management, search engine optimization, traffic analysis, graphic design, and providing contributing leadership to the company’s website committee.
Proactively support Business Development/Marketing through commitment to customer satisfaction and compliance with standards, deadlines, and budgetary goals.
Collaborating with various team members
Verify all programming modifications to ensure timely, efficient, and documented application support and problem resolution is provided to ensure successful user production.
Providing regular updates to management on the status and completion of project activities.
Engineering and maintaining version control of all applications developed and maintained.
Responsible for acting in accordance with and complying with all departmental and company policies in relation to: Compliance Program, Risk Management Program, Medicare Program, and Medicaid Program
Assist other team members, and perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Assists in special projects as needed.
