SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
An associative multimedia specialist would be responsible for working a long side another senior multimedia specialist to produce digital graphical artifacts. He/she will report to a team lead within the multimedia team. He/she would need to perform underneath pressure and be able to handle vague guidelines as most Stifel users look towards multimedia specialists to help realize one’s vision. An associative multimedia specialist will also work some with the audio visual needs throughout the company. This is including but not limited to: setting up projectors, creating power point presentations, working alongside AV contractors for big presentations and displays.
Follow Stifel guidelines given by marketing and compliance when constructing digital assets.
Exercise one’s ability to take a project from the beginning and seeing it through to production.
Responsible for keeping communication channels open between oneself and the team lead.
Responsible for assisting with audio visual needs such as setting up projectors, creating power point presentations, etc.
Able to construct professional images for websites, portals, internal memos, and digital presentations.
Able to constructively assist customers on helping them achieve his/her vision through frequent meetings/follow-ups/proof of concepts.
Continue to stay on top of the latest trend’s practices from a multimedia stance. This would include the different technologies that will supplement one’s job.
Bachelor’s Degree in graphics design or equivalent experience.
1+ years’ experience of multimedia experience which would include but not limited to great working knowledge of photoshop and illustrator
A good understanding of image weights and types. How they are applied to presentations/websites/etc.
Must have a good understanding of layering, masking, blending, and various other features within PhotoShop.
Excellent communication skills, analyzing abilities, and trouble shooting skills.
Ability to multi-task to address multiple and often conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to demonstrate proactive approach to problem resolution, strong troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
Needs to have some understanding of video/audio editing.
Willing to learn from seniors within his/her field.
Ability to manage priorities, deadlines and tasks in order to meet deadlines and to accomplish goals.
Must have a good understand of illustrator and when to use the product vs photoshop.
Must have a good understand of the differences between vector based assets verses pixel based.
