Explore an exciting opportunity in our Reference Data Operation, Municipal Bonds department. Interactive Data’s municipal data quality program concentrates on measures to continuously monitor the timeliness and accuracy of its data based on meeting client requirements to automate various security life cycle functions.
Reference Data Operation is looking for a Research Specialist based in our office in downtown New York, NY. The qualified candidate will be trained in collecting financial data from external sources; updating and maintaining that data in the internal database(s) which will add value through accurate interpretation and delivery of these tasks.
Within a year, the expectation of the Research Specialist’s key responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
Understanding, navigating and updating relevant databases
Understanding, identifying and processing relevant sources and markets
Maintaining quality including data checks, spin offs/reports and assisting in the resolution of queries.
Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills
Must have excellent communication skills
Strong PC and Writing skills a must
Fluency in English
Bachelor’s Degree OR 10 years of relevant experience
