Required Experience:
We are currently seeking a Network Administrator who maintains computing environment by identifying network requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring network performance and telecommunication systems; installs, configures, and maintains both physical and virtual computer servers; maintains employee network, e-mail and business application systems. Candidate should have 7+ years of experience in all areas of local and wide area networks management and administration. Experience installing and supporting Microsoft, Apple, and Cisco technologies; experience supporting telecommunications equipment. Any combination of education and training equivalent to possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science, information engineering or other related areas; such education should be at a level which demonstrates the ability to perform duties comparable to those listed herein. Possession of a Network Administration Certificate is preferred. Ideal candidate must be able to plan, design, and maintain data networks and servers, communicate effectively both written and orally; explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to end users and management, ability to problem solve, prioritize requests, organize, schedule, and coordinate a variety of activities and projects, multi-task and establish and maintain cooperative-working relationships with all those contacted during the course of work.
