The Middletown Engine Center is seeking a high-energy individual to be the NGPF Materials Manager for the C-Series & MRJ programs.

In this position, the candidate must experience in all aspects of material management and assembly operation to ensure material flow is maximized.

Candidate will work closely with CIPT leaders, Validation Managers & Industrial Managers to ensure assembly and test facility requirements are identified and in place to support program requirements.

The selected individual will play a critical role in developing and executing one company strategies for material management process, developing and executing standard work for various materials/logistics processes.

Candidate will work with assembly sites to develop optimal material flow processes to achieve cost, quality, and safety and schedule requirements.

Significant coordination with the assembly sites, Program Office, Validation Managers, CIPTs, Quality Managers and Industrial Managers is required to meet MRP build plan and Customer contract deliveries.

Key functions include:
-Enhance/improve existing material management process
-Lead material management process/meetings
-Focal point for resolution of materials/logistics issues
-Coordinate with Engine Assembly to ensure parts are available when needed
-Make allocation/priority decisions on critical hardware
-Work with IT to improve material/logistics flow processes
-Maintain/distribute key material management metrics
-Ensure Andon system is properly utilized
-Support efforts to drive cost & lead time reductions
-Coordinate Pilot Lot and/or Temporary Release (TR) process, working closely with Quality and Engineering organizations

MBA or BS in Manufacturing, or Business 8+ years experience in Procurement, Manufacturing and/or Materials Management. Must have knowledge of Assembly and Test Operations. Excellent problem solving skills, communication techniques and the ability to work in a fast paced environment, and being adaptable to changing business conditions required. Strong customer focus and business knowledge are key.

Travel will be required - (25% - 50%)
