Our NGS Change Request Coordinator is responsible for the communications between Centers for Medicare Medicaid Services (CMS) and National Government Services (NGS) for all contracts with regard to changing contractual requirements. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to: Reviews, analyzes, assigns, and tracks all Change Requests (CRs), Technical Direction Letters (TDL’s), and Provider Termination Notices. Collects and closes all final documentation and management approvals. Serves as a subject matter expert for all operational areas and assigns tasks to all of NGS to ensure compliance with the CR, TDL, or Term Notice. Provides guidance to the operational areas with regard to CR interpretation, coordination with other areas, communicating impact to CMS, establishing if CR is within Statement of Work and capturing financial impact. Identifies, tracks and implements process improvements. Audits the front end process, prepares and audits monthly/quarterly CR reports. Reviews other contractors comments for relevancy to NGS contracts and alerts operational areas of pertinent information. Meets with CMS during CR audit and reviews.
The NGS Change Request Coordinator requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 3-5 years of experience as an Action Plan Coordinator; 5 years of Medicare operations experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
