Job Summary The Atomic NOC team plays a critical role in maintaining client satisfaction and resilient network operations NOC technicians maintain a constant awareness of Atomic and customer infrastructure in data centers around the world to guarantee the best service delivery possible NOC techs handle systems monitoring alert triage client requests and escalate issues to higherlevel resources as necessary NOC members will find themselves in an ideal position for learning a wide collection of technologies and candidates can look forward to crucial experience with Cisco gear Linux and Windows servers and the engineers who built the systems Must have the ability to communicate effectively with both technical staff and end users by providing exceptional client service skills Team members are self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision Essential Duties and Responsibilities Update and maintain alert response and knowledge base documentation Setup monitoring for network devices and servers Own escalations from Level I Level II support teams Own the responsibility of your tickets by ensuring statuses are kept current documentation is clear and issues are getting resolved Tickets must be updated in real time as events and actions occur Leadership and mentoring of NOC Level I and Level II team members Ability to work with telecom and ISP vendors to resolve remote connectivity issues Ability to communicate effectively and provide exceptional support with internal and external customers Proactive awareness for potential infrastructure issues and maintenance activities Policy enforcement of building and access card security Attends to obligations and supports other company initiatives as directed Skill Requirements Scale of 1 to 5 with 1 experience with Network Operations support in a professional environment Bachelor’s Degree in Networking and Systems Administration or equivalent work experience Willingness to work flexible schedules and support 24X7 operations autonomously Strong problem solving time management flexibility and communication skills Must have the ability to multitask organize and document many tasks at one time Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand use hands to finger handle or feel reach with hands and arms and talk or hear The employee frequently is required to walk and stoop kneel crouch or crawl The employee is occasionally required to sit climb or balance The employee must frequently lift andor move up to 10 pounds and
