The Global Enterprise Operations Center is responsible for the 7x24 monitoring and remedial activities in support of Cloud Services.
Monitor, support, troubleshoot, and provide workarounds/disaster recovery for all systems and services globally. In depth knowledge of applications, techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications; the design, development, documentation, analysis, testing, or modification of computer systems or programs related to operating and production systems.
With the goal to maintain 99.999% system availability and a low means time to resolution (MTTR) of incidents and problems throughout a 24/7/365 work environment. The position requires communication, integration and notification to Sales Operation, Customer Care, Executive Management, IT Operations and International Regions (both Business and IT).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience outlined below.
- Intermediate to Expert skills and working knowledge of MS Windows.
- Must be willing to work any shift in a 24/7/365 work environment.
Knowledge and use of all monitoring tools (a plus).
The ability to work well with others and to communicate professionally with upper management.
Having the skills needed to make determinations of prioritization on issues:
• Coordination, organization and teaming skills.
• Self-motivated and quality-driven, balanced with technical and support abilities.
• Ability to deflate anger, resolve conflict and operate with a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to multitask and respond to priority issues effectively.
• Ability to work independently, under general supervision.
High School Diploma or equivalent experience and/or training or both will be required
