The Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (FNP) assesses, plans, implements and evaluates
patient care in the physician’s office setting with the goal of promoting health and disease prevention beginning in childhood and continuing throughout the aging process.
The Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner works directly with, and under the guidance of, the physician(s) in all patient care activities.
Must have completed Masters of Science in Nursing and
Satisfactory completion of Nurse practitioner program, must also have
1 year experience as an Family Nurse Practitioner and
Current Delaware Advanced Practice Nurse license with prescriptive authority.
Must be c
ertified by the AANP (
of Nurse Practitioners) and/or
American Nurses Credentialing Center,
BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Saving) certification.
