Supervises department staff assigned to food production areas. Supervises and coordinates the purchasing of food stuffs and department supplies.
A minimum of three years of institutional/health care food service is required. Experience in the areas of supervision/management, purchasing and sanitation required.
Schedules and evaluates employees assigned to food production and food storage areas. Coordinates food production functions in the department as required for patient meal service, cafeteria meal service, catering services, Meals on Wheels and other functions. Orders and receives all department food stuff and supplies following Premier Purchasing policies. Maintains all department statistics that relate to food service and supplies provided to other departments.
