This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a National Accounts Manager working with our dealer network to sell material handling trucks and services to Fortune 500 companies in the US and abroad. NMHG has a reputation for high quality lift trucks and one of the industry’s best service and dealer networks. This field-based position reports to the Industry Sales Manager and is a high profile position with significant growth opportunities within the company with an earning potential up to $300K.

Key accountabilities for this position are:
Develop and execute strategic account plans resulting in preference for Hyster and Yale products

Actively participate with dealers in account development and key account management

Lead the sales process for dealer key accounts, including but not limited to customer visits and presentations

Provide monthly forecasting and reporting

Utilize cross-functional selling to gain preference for Capital Leasing and Fleet Management programs

100 new unit bookings during the first year

Minimum qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering preferred

A minimum of 5 years previous sales experience in lift truck or mobile equipment areas

Experience working in a dealer network

Successful record of managing sophisticated transactions and selling to senior executives and local facility managers

Proven Project Management experience

Strong written and oral communication skills and experience in presenting proposals to customers and executive management

Formal sales training would be helpful, but is not required

A strong desire to use their skills to grow the business is essential
