National position involving a variety of market segments including food processors and food retailers

Primary focus on food ingredients, retail private label and secondary focus on foodservice segment

Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers and distributors to increase sales and profits

Support accounts with face-to-face interaction

Create, develop and present quotes, sales presentations and marketing materials

Identify and develop new opportunities within existing accounts

Create and maintain actionable database for customer history and selling activities

Coordinate and manage trade show participation

Meet and exceed sales objectives, prospect for new business, build and service existing accounts

Serve as primary contact for various house accounts

manage program compliance: minimum order quantities, pricing, etc.

Plan, target, organize, implement, and maintain a business plan

Work closely with other functional areas to resolve customer issues

Market to: retail, wholesale, distributor, food manufacturers, processors, food service, janitorial supply distributors, alternative retail formats, export

50% spent on ingredient sales; 40% - retail private label; 10% - foodservice. 80% of volume is food; 20% is cleansers

Member of three-person national account team

BS/BA required

3 years food sales experience in the food industry; industrial ingredient, retail private label experience a plus

Proven track record to grow business and an ability to handle financial dealings with customer accounts

Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder
