SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing Tyson's Southeast Regional Sales of Food Service and Retail products to Convenience stores in order to achieve maximum volume potential and profitability while maintaining Tyson's standard of providing high quality products with excellent customer service. This position requires a willingness to sell Tyson products, increase market share, and maintain good customer relations with national account customers, regional chain customers, and distributors within a certain area in order to ensure the success of the division. Other responsibilities include: tracking competitive activity and selling strategically against competitors while ensuring Brokers, Distributors and End Users know Tyson Foods capabilities, product features, benefits, and value-added qualities; establishing a service and response level to customers that exceeds the industry standard and demonstrating an ability to handle customer questions, objections and complaints while solving problems in a timely manner, is necessary. Other duties include: managing the Advertising/Marketing fund, overseeing all price deviations and invoice deductions, directing the Broker sales force on Tyson objectives, evaluating selling opportunities, coordinating production capabilities with plants and the production scheduling and forecasting TEAMS, and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Experience: 6 + years with an emphasis on foodservice protein sales, experience in the convenience store channel, distributor sales and broker management. Computer Skills: Requires basic computer skills. Special Skills: Intimate knowledge of the convenience store channel. Supervisory: Directing the Broker sales force. Travel: 25 or more trips per year Position-Specific Requirements Position will manage the North Carolina/Georgia market.
