National Distribution Analyst Manager (

The National Distribution Analyst Manager’s main priorities are to provide national leadership and clarity of alignment around a suite of decision support tools, strategic analysis, standard reports, as well as, training and communication Assistance for the Business Unit (BU), Director of Distribution (DOD), VP of Distribution and Distributor Partner Managers (DPMs).


1. Strategic Analysis & process planning

a. Annual Plans: Lead & support the development , deployment & implementation of nationally aligned revenue/budget data for BU’s

b. Lead and ensure best in class Planning Cycle/processes for the Distribution Analyst across North America(roll-up, plan-to-actual gap analyses, progress reporting, etc.)

c. Identify and capture “best practices” relative to decision support and insights that lead to the deployment of national process for data integrity and accuracy

d. Lead National & BU forecasting exception reporting process

e. Develop and implement turnkey and scalable tools for establishing Distribution Cost Budget Analyses

2. Standard Reports and Processes

a. Bring to Life account segmentation and prioritization process nationally and embed in operational way of working

b. Ensure and develop financial decision support tools for budget optimization

c. Support, lead and enable the adoption of Standard Reports “Innovator” (re: continuous improvement on standardized reporting )

d. Lead the national development and measurement of DP Management & DP evolution tracking and summary results

e. Lead, develop, identify and implement “Best in Class” Turn-key decision support tools

f. Own the harmonization of Promotional execution Reporting for RBNA

3. Supporting Other Functions

a. Headquarter Trade marketing, business insights & national accounts

b. Develop and lead the creation of “Harmonized” objective setting, planning and tacking

c. Lead and Manage the automation of national Hand Held display/promo targeting, tracking and measuring process and integrate fully into the MPR process

d. Headquarter Training

4. Communications

a. DP invoicing directly w/ finance depts.

b. Company payment center

c. DOD/VP of Distribution standardized updates and prepare for monthly sales meetings, Leadership Team briefings and international Business Planning process

d. DP Invoice Payables Aging and Problem Status


1. DPM is able to spend the time in the market required by the Phase I project requirements

2. Measurable improvement in accuracy of invoices and timeliness of payment

3. Enable and improve the annual planning process

4. Improve the effectiveness and capability of the DOD

5. Improve ability of Division Sales Manger (DSM) to manage Distributor Partner Managers and Distribution Partners (e.g., more time to manage, reduced DPM routine variability, etc.)

6. Fulfill non-distribution stakeholder information requests with greater accuracy and timeliness.


1. 5 – 7 years experience in an analytical management role

2. Highly skilled in Prism, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Access MS Office

3. Good Communication skills, highly organized

4. Knowledge of retail landscape (local as well as National accounts)

5. Experience in leading and facilitating working relationships with finance leads at Distributor Partners

6. BA required

7. Ability to work across functions including headquarters, field/business units and retailers

8. Ability to work comfortably with IT…”techy by nature”

9. High-Level understanding of reporting technology and capabilities

10. Ability to convert analytics into insights

11. Sales-orientation, understands sales drivers and connections between data and sales execution
