We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our Talent Acquisition Center of Excellent. The Talent Acquisition Manager will set the overall planning, sourcing and selection strategy for our US Based, Home and Office Delivery business (manufacturing, sales and distribution). Provide leadership and mentoring to a team of recruiters and recruiting coordinator(s) to deliver talent to the business in a timely manner. Create and implement national, regional, and local Sourcing plans. Ensure Sourcing efforts are legally compliant and aligned with outreach objectives. Measure effectiveness of Sourcing strategies and recommend improvements.
On-going creation and implementation of a comprehensive recruitment strategy and execution plan
Partner with Business Leadership to evaluate recruiting needs, staffing effectiveness, and address any gaps in available talent. Develop and implement initiatives to close those gaps and meet business needs/goals.
Foster a collaborative recruiting team environment and strong service-oriented culture that drives timely delivery of new talent to the business
Build and maintain a strong recruiting team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building and succession planning.
Research demographics and other relevant data to identify Sourcing targets that match hiring profile; may include national, regional, or local focus; explore traditional and innovative options (newspapers, internet, schools, job fairs, affinity groups, employee/customer referrals, etc); leverage internal and external resources
Partner with Recruiting Operations Manager to Integrate scalable and repeatable sourcing platforms (LinkedIn, social media, Alumni Networks) into a functional recruiting strategy.
Build/enhance recruitment toolkit (ad templates, collateral, etc) consistent with job profile, employment brand, and sourcing strategies
Develop metrics and gather data to assess effectiveness of sources; make recommendations for process improvement; generate regular and ad-hoc reports regarding Sourcing activities
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing or relevant field
3 years leading, motivating and mentoring a team of recruiters and recruiting coordinator(s)
5-8 years high volume, exempt and non-exempt sourcing/recruiting/hiring experience across a variety of client organizations and geographies, preferably in the consumer product goods industry
3 years developing and leveraging Social Media presence in Staffing
5 years experience with e-Recruiting Technology. Kenexa (ATS) knowledge preferred.
2 years experience creating and deploying data analysis to measure sourcing effectiveness and recruiter productivity
Possess working knowledge of the complete recruiting function, including but not limited to: research, sourcing, networking, behavioral based interviewing, closing candidates, etc.
Ability to build successful candidate profiles, clarify required job skills and competencies and use the best sourcing strategies for each job category
Ability to build relationships at all levels internally and externally with vendors and candidates
Ability to attract and find the right candidates for each job, using various sourcing techniques effectively, including networking events, social media and other creative media channels
Knowledge of the job market, supply of talent and competitive positioning for local and national resources
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing business needs and processes
Strong process-orientation, organization and follow-up skills
Ability to analyze data, draw inferences, and make judgments
Ability to influence peers, business partners, vendors
Strong internal and external service-orientation
Public speaking skills and ability to deliver presentations
