As ConsumerTrack’s National Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for prospecting and closing new customers for our Banking and Insurance sites, and ConsumerTrack has a rapidly growing presence connected to online banking and insurance services with our growing GoMedia Network. The National Strategic Account Executive will excel at identifying and bringing aboard the top 100 banks and insurance companies as advertisers on our network. This position plays a critical role in growing the revenue and market presence of our portals.

A successful candidate will be client focused and comfortable working with a variety of partners at all stages of the sales cycle. The individual needs to be a strategic thinker, exhibit exceptional and persuasive spoken and written communication skills, and be very detail-oriented. The National Strategic Account Executive must work collaboratively with our internal product and technical teams, and display strong teamwork and collaboration with internal teams as well as external prospects/customers.
Prospect and close new customers via cold calling, email and face-to-face meetings
Understand clients’ viewpoint and maintain open communication to meet their needs
Understand the service and product requirements needed to further grow the business with partners, and articulate basic needs to internal teams
Communicate ongoing contact/sales activities through pipeline reports and updates
Report performance of internet advertising partners and make recommendations to optimize their expenditures
Provide solid marketplace feedback for sales collateral, pitches, and case studies
Manage systems and processes to track partner information and make recommendations as needed
Manage all partner reporting
Participate in proposal development and presentations
Travel to client locations as needed

BS/BA or equivalent experience is necessary
5+ years experience in sales, business development, and internet advertising/marketing
Experience with internet businesses, personal finance, search marketing, web affiliate marketing and/or account development with clients in Internet is a must
Excellent negotiation skills, strong sales aptitude, strong aptitude for consultative sales
Business relationship management experience
Proven ability to manage multiple daily tasks, as well as, long-term strategic projects
Ability to work well independently and under pressure, as well as be highly responsive to prospects/clients
Results oriented with great attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong customer service and leadership abilities
Strong process management and analytical skills
Strong focus on teamwork and ability to manage relationships across multiple departments
