National Wildlife Action Fund is a 501(c)(4) organization that works to raise the visibility of key conservation issues with voters and elected officials.
National Wildlife Action Fund is currently seeking a full time intern to be based in Washington, DC. This position will support the Action Fund’s growing grassroots, political, and developmental programs. The intern will provide fundraising, administrative, research, and office support.
Responsibilities will include donor and prospect research, database management, event follow-up and staffing, candidate and issue research, and internal finance tracking.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, organized and detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Political campaign (electoral)
experience and knowledge of and ability to use computer software programs (e.g. MS Office) is required. Fundraising experience and familiarity with Raiser’s Edge or other developmental software is preferred.
The internship is expected to begin September 2013 and go through August 2014. This is a paid internship ($10.00hr) and also includes core benefits.
