Provides implementation and maintenance support of the Denver Health network environment, including the service offerings to integrate voice, video and data.
Develop and implement scaleable network solutions for clinical and campus environments including:
Network Management solutions, Network mapping,
Routing to ATM migrations, SoNet Ring implementations and design, LAN/WAN infrastructure redesign and/or expansion of existing Ethernet and/or ATM networks. Perform performance and tuning task associated with network support and application performance in a local and wide area environment. Performs assignments in troubleshooting software and/or hardware problems for network based systems, installation and project implementation.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field, or equivalent training in the area
of LAN/WAN network environments using Cisco router and switching technologies. Technical training supplemented with continuing education courses/seminars.
3 years of technical experience in LAN/WAN infrastructure management with a BA Degree in
Management Information Systems; or BA Degree in equivalent technical field. Without a technical
degree, 5 years of technical experience in LAN/WAN infrastructure management with at least 1 year
experience in a team lead or supervisory role with a minimum of 1 year of Health Care Industry.
