The person in this position will be an experienced Network Administrator who will work with the Entrepreneurial Advantage, LLC team.The Network Administrator will provide technical and administrative support for our network, using operating systems and a variety of application hardware and software tools to maximize the efficiency of the network and users' utilization. The administrator would work closely with the Director of Technology assisting and anticipating the current and future needs of the network. The administrator will monitor the heartbeat of our network and anticipate its every move. ResponsibilitiesAssist in providing computer/network support relating to software and hardwareMaintain adequate knowledge of operation system and application software being used within the companyInstall new software or hardware, coordinating assistance from third parties as necessaryAssist in installation of workstations and printers on the LANAssist in gathering bid prices on new equipment and supplies neededMonitor and report licenses on applications to ensure compliance on a monthly/yearly basisParticipate in Team meetings, providing input and suggestions, understanding the system requirementsAdd and maintain users on the network; assigning application access, ensuring security, and maintaining rightsMonitor and evaluate the efficiency of software/hardware usageMonitor and suggest and provide training to end users as appropriateDocument and maintain all network processes for the LANEnsure all network updates are implemented as appropriateMonitor load balance on servers and make recommendations accordinglyProvide direction and support to the network teamParticipate with other team members as necessary to ensure the best network best practices are being used RequirementsQualifications:BA in Information Technology or equivalent experience Minimum 2 -3 years of experience in working with networks, insurance industry preferredNetwork Certification preferredExperience with Share point a mustSkills/Knowledge/Competencies:Proven ability to manage a network for internal and/or external clientsDemonstrated success managing multiple projects or tasksKnowledge or experience using a network that hosts the insurance industry using social mediaExperience with Mitel phone systems, CRM systems (i.e.
