Hospice of the Comforter, with administrative offices located North of Orlando in Altamonte Springs, is seeking a full time Network Administrator to be responsible for the administration and maintenance of the local and wide area network activities of the organization. This position is also responsible for the build, operation, and support for all physical and logical server hardware and software and for all router, switch, and firewall configuration and support.
Provides setup and maintenance of the local and wide are network activities and associated hardware and software, the physical and logical servers, server software, and the Cisco VoIP telephone and related systems.
Performs network infrastructure troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Implements and monitors network security and firewalls to maintain a controlled and secure network environment.
Optimizes and maintains network software and hardware, configuring new components in a controlled environment, implementing preventive maintenance plans, monitoring and documenting network configuration changes.
Installs, configures and maintains local area network hardware and software, including physical and virtual servers, Storage Area Networks, BlackBerry Enterprise Servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and all VoIP telecom and Voicemail components.
Installs, configures and maintains the company’s Citrix environment including web based and Thin Client access and printing.
Manages, performs, monitors, and maintains infrastructure backup, routine data retrieval, and network disaster recovery to ensure systems can recover from a disaster.
Performs the Windows Active Director activities necessary to manage the company’s access and security restrictions to files, folders, and programs.
Performs routine Database Administrator duties such as installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting databases needed by other programs.
Performs server hardware maintenance, as needed.
Bachelor's or Technical degree in Information Technology or related field is required
A minimum of 5 years experience in Information Technology is required.
Certificates and Licenses Required:
Microsoft MCSA/MSITP Certification and Cisco CCNA is preferred.
Experienced in the installation, configuration, and use of current versions of Microsoft Exchange, Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Windows Server Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Citrix systems, Cisco switches, firewalls, and Cisco command line Interface programming.
Experienced in the configuration, and management of Citrix server software and Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop systems.
Experienced in the installation, configuration, and management of Cisco routers, switches and firewalls.
Experienced in the installation, configuration, and management of Microsoft Hyper-V virtual server software.
Experienced in the installation, configuration, and management of Cisco VoIP telephone systems.
Experienced in the installation, configuration, and management Dell EquaLogic SAN or similar SAN storage systems management.
