The Network Analyst is responsible for providing extensive systems analysis knowledge to plan and lead the implementation of hospital-wide technology. Responsible for the day to day network activities in the diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution of network issues. Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of LAN, WAN and wireless networks. Provide leadership and guidance to hospital and Information Technology staff to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; OR three (3) years demonstrated proficient experience engineering router/switch operating systems and networks.
Proficient knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wireless Networks.
Must continue to obtain and maintain appropriate certifications, as determined by Director, on a regular and ongoing basis.
ESSENTIAL JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) years experience engineering router/switch operating systems and networks.
Experience with network management, monitoring and performance measuring tools.
Experience in network security technologies such as Firewall, anti-virus, intrusion prevention, and VPN.
PREFERRED JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Hospital Environments and applications experience
Safety Systems (fire, police, camera, access control).
