Reporting To : Manager, Client Implementation

Reporting Location: West Des Moines, IA

Working Location : West Des Moines, IA

Overall Objectives :
The Network Architect at LightEdge Solutions will provide courteous and professional implementation support and work directly with clients on implementation projects. This will include configuration, installation, documentation, and troubleshooting of complex networks, security and hosted services.

Specific Assignments:
Provide remote implementation support and administration
May provide on-site equipment installation
Work directly with LightEdge Solutions clients to determine project requirements
Identify, correct, and advise on incidents related to client services
Escalate services requests and incidents as required
Effectively communicate project status to Project Managers and client
Follow standards and procedures for configuration
Complete all design documentation, including equipment configuration, quickly and completely following a project completion
Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately
Minimum 40 hours/week required
Other duties as assigned

Associate degree in Information Technology or a related discipline preferred, an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
4-5 years of experience with Information Technology hardware and software support
Must possess a strong understanding of networks and routing
Proficient with Cisco routers, switches and firewalls
Experience with VMware preferred
Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office a plus
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Experience working and opening trouble tickets with vendors/telecomm carriers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for work in a collaborative team environment
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to multi task and operate with minimal supervision, adjusting priorities accordingly
Able to maintain professional demeanor under stress
Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to changes in technology
Occasional travel may be required
