The candidate will also participate in the prototype, installation and integration of the new network architecture. The Network Architect will provide technical leadership and vision, with respect to the design, and deployment of a network based solution for the Laboratory with adherence to industry and Laboratory sponsor standards.
Responsibilities include: capturing requirements, facilitating design reviews for proposed solutions; providing recommendations on viability, implementation strategies and optimal implementation of solutions; demonstration of expert level knowledge of network topologies and conditions; ensuring changes to network topologies are made with minimal down-time; setting strategic and technical direction for data, voice or video network hardware and systems.
