The Network Engineer II will partner in a team environment or be able to independently provide technical support to maintain the internet backbone.
Responsible for monitoring network health, and planning and carrying out repairs such as card replacements and circuit troubleshooting.
Assists more senior engineers with gathering data on network performance, testing new and upgraded moderately complex equipment, and documenting findings.
Provides support for troubleshooting network problems.
Responsible for logging into routers, changing parameters, modifying moderately complex documentation, and testing results.
Implements and documents network addressing schemes including, but not limited to changing IP address assignments and subnetting.
Basic Requirements :
Bachelor's degree plus 5 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
