Network Engineer

3Cinteractive®, named one of America’s Most Promising companies by Forbes and one of the Best Places to Work by the South Florida Business Journal, is currently looking to hire a Network Engineer at our new 26,000 square foot Boca Raton, FL global headquarters.

The Network Engineer will work in close collaboration with System Administrators and the Chief Security Officer (CSO) to provide network management and information system expertise. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 7 years experience with large IP networks and other network management tools.

This position also requires a candidate who enjoys being part of a team that delivers innovative mobile solutions to the biggest companies in the world – in an exciting, passionate environment!


Work closely with the System Administrators and the CSO for day-to-day tasks

Integrate LAN/WAN and other information systems

Perform analytical, technical and administrative work in the planning, design, installation and on-going administration of Local and Wide Area Networks

Install and maintain network and/or existing hardware and software

Research, plan and forecast future network hardware and software for systems


Demonstrate ability to perform network management and documentation using industry standard network management and documentation tools

Minimum of 5 to 7 years technical experience with large scale IP networks

Strong knowledge of the following subject areas:
Multilayer switching, internal and external routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS and others), and VoIP (SIP) architectures

Local and global load balancing architecture and deployment

Cisco, Aruba, and F5 equipment

Unix Networking and firewalls, IPTables, Linux Virtual Server, Linux 802.1q, OpenVPN

In-depth IP concepts and High Availability architectures

Application and network security concepts and technologies including, but not limited to: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, Packet captures and Application Security

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must

Ability to use OmniGraffle/MS Visio and Macintosh OS

Demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, team environment

Proven experience in cross-department communications

Preferred CCNP, CCNP Security, and CCNP Wireless
