The IT Network Engineer is responsible for design, installation, configuration and maintenance of the organization's network. Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting. Reviews, plans, and evaluates network systems.

DUTIES

  • Troubleshoots network systems and recommends improvements to network. Provides resolution for network problems.
  • Participates in network planning, engineering, architecture, and the development of technical standards and interface applications.
  • Performs capacity and resource planning to evaluate existing network systems. Recommends resources to maintain or expand as needed
  • Participates in the research and evaluates new products and services.
  • Provides analysis on technologies to provide long-term compatibility and flexibility
  • Analyzes, defines and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs.
  • Contributes to defining time tables and project plans; analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs.
  • Ensures that expected SLAs are achieved.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline from four-year college or university
  • Minimum 4+ years experience in IT network or systems engineering
  • At least 4 years experience on supporting Microsoft servers including Exchange, SQL, Active Directory ...etc, Unix, Data center design and operations, Voice system related project implementation.
  • Manage network-related projects, activities and tasks
  • Document network topologies, IP allocation, and network designs
  • Troubleshoots network systems and recommends improvements to network. Provides resolution for network problems.
