The Network Engineer position is responsible for the security and availability of the LAN/WAN equipment along with the design and documentation of systems used both at our headquarters and locations around the world. The position will be part of an Infrastructure team focused on support of an application currently undergoing rapid expansion and widespread release. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support Windows Systems, multi-vendor networks.
- Support Franchise World Headquarter, LLC. applications.
- Design and document network systems or applications.
- Participate in maintenance and problem resolution.
Bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years relevant work experience or equivalent education/experience combination required. A successful candidate will have a wide range of experience supporting network and server hardware along with application release experience. Hands-on experience implementing network devices, setting and maintaining rights/security within a Windows Server environment and configuration of firewalls, along with a proven record of system design and documentation preferred. Experience with performance monitoring and logging tools such as SPLUNK a plus along with knowledge of OS , SQL , IIS and VMware . Vendor certifications such as MCSE , CCNA and CCNP required.
