1. “Proactive" management of Client Network.

2. Analysis, review, and recommendations specific to network utilization (upgrades/ downgrades) for Internet, MPLS, Secure Gateway, etc.

a. Capacity for on switch ports.

b. Production CPE with short term EOL / EOS status designations. Proactively identify devices that will be impacted by EOL status and recommend viable replacements.

3. Support of Network Expansions.

4. Life Cycle Design Engineering Authority (LCDEA)

a. Engineering authority responsible for all decisions for all design and architecture for all technologies in production environment.

b. Support engineering responsibilities from transition stage (handoff from Verizon SDA / SEA) through end of contract termination.

c. Responsible to understand all requirements and provide recommendations on the best option platform to meet requirements.

d. Responsible to understand technology interdependencies and impact of change to existing production platforms.

5. Required to support definition of future enhancements, support resolution. (example: if customer is having MS Lync issue, is the root cause MPLS, MIDA, SBC, VoIP, F/W-DMZ, etc?). Support implementation of new services; specifically provide technical guidance for new services). Implementation will be supported by Project Manager

6. Security Review & Process Management- Professional Consulting Services

7. Technology Refresh Cycle

8. Bottle Neck Optimization & Monitoring (QoS)

9. Change Management Process & Design
