Job Title: Network Operations Center Operator

Reports to: Network Operations Center Manager

Location: Houston, TX

Description:
This position is a 12 hr shift that supports the 24x7x365 Stewart Data Center. This position is responsible for monitoring the Stewart network, including WAN, LAN, security, facilities, and critical applications. This position will require the use of various monitoring tools and utilities that will also require basic troubleshooting skills to resolve issues. The individual in this position will have the responsibility of implementing processes to regularly verify compliance with security policies.

Responsibilities:
o Responsible for performing specific work activities/tasks that are planned or assigned.

o Maintain monitoring tools and reporting that will increase the reliable functionality and uptime for services supported by ITS

o Configure and maintain corporate monitoring applications

o Required to exercise independent judgment and discretion in resolving enterprise issues

o Escalate and track problems reported to all technical services teams via SDE

o Performs other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:
o Must have a general understanding of fully defined tasks and must be capable of following

written and spoken instructions

o Good understanding of network technologies, including routers, switches, and distributed applications

systems running on MS operating systems

o Working knowledge of MS Windows family of operating systems

o Ability to work flexible schedule (nights/weekends/holidays)

o Must be Multi-tasked oriented

o Ability to work under pressure

o Able to work well in a team environment

o Ability to work in a 24/7 operation

o Ability to deal with customers in a professional manner

o Minimum of 2 years of experience in related field which includes experience in customer service
