Installs, configures and tests; servers, workstations and other peripheral devices with/without training room set-up. Implements user administration and file system structures and rights. Configures training room environments for Implementation personnel to provide customer training. Troubleshoots, upgrades and performs conversions, bridging and other networking tasks. Installs and configures all network databases. Configures and tests workstations and software to facilitate appropriate information exchange. Performs site surveys. Discuss serial interfaces with third party system vendors in conjunction with the customer to detail business needs and desires. Resolve technical networking challenges via phone, modem or on-site. Perform moderate serial interfaces. Document all work with customer signature. Other duties may be assigned.
Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 1 year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. MCSE and Novell certifications desired. Extensive travel both domestic and international is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and/or stand and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
