The Network Systems Admin is responsible for Network Administrative activities related to IT infrastructure supporting the internal business operations. Responsible for analyzing internal customer needs and priorities for network maintenance and optimization. Configure and perform diagnostics on network infrastructure devices. Troubleshoot LAN including cable, wireless, fiber, switches and routers. Configure and optimize LAN switches. Perform hardware fault isolation and repair; repair switch and VLAN problems; insuring network is available on a day-to-day basis, monitoring, change management, incidents. Server and desk side support as needed.

Work Activities and Responsibilities:
Manage servers: patching, security and pro-active maintenance
Manage network security: firewalls, switches and anti-virus.
Manage VOIP phone system and cell accounts
Manage assets: software and hardware
Installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices, including access and permission rights
Maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use and disaster recovery
Perform server and security audits.
Perform system backups, testing and recovery
Recommend and schedule network upgrades and repairs
Keep manager informed of all incidents that are critical in nature
Always testing new ways to automate the processes
Playing with and testing out latest technology for integration into business
