The Network Technical Architect builds and guides teams to deliver a given scope of network and voice architecture, mentors other engineers, and leads complex technical assignments that have broad impact within the organization. Provides work direction to the network technical engineers (data network/voice Engineers) as well as hands-on engineering and troubleshooting. Assists IT in supporting the current infrastructure and implementing strategic technical direction. Is responsible for helping execute the architectural construction and reconstruction of technical environments. Sets the direction and standard for network and telecom technology, tool adoption approach and/or production support best practices. Develops and executes the plan to migrate from the current to future vision. Ensures that maximum benefit is achieved from new solutions/applications. Develops and mentors others within the Bremer technology organization. Develops the network architecture at Bremer based on the requirements of the business.

Qualifications:
Combination of education and experience generally attained through a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline and 5+ years of experience in Technical Architecture with 5-7 years of network, VoIP and telecom expertise. Demonstrated senior/architect level competence within Cisco UCC and Call Manager environments as well as Cisco local and wide-area networks and firewalls. Ability to multi-task, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated knowledge of standard network and telecom industry best practices. Experience in implementing and delivering network and voice related technology projects. Strong leadership/relationship management skills with proven ability to influence activity and performance without direct authority. Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong decision making, communication, technology deployment and negotiation skills. Proven understanding of best practices in designing and maintaining highly availability systems and environments. Experience mentoring team members. Desired, but not required, qualifications include: knowledge of regulatory requirements; appropriate Cisco certification; and experience with ITIL change management practices.
