ActioNet has an opening for a Network Technician to support our Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona customer at the Norco, CA location. Individual is responsible for the execution of operational data management plans for test and evaluation events. This will include the collection, reproduction, handling, distribution, and archival of mission data and documentation. Individual will interface with a variety of personnel at all levels and across various governmental agencies to manage the timely receipt of mission related data products. Will receive, verify, reproduce, and distribute test event data items per the established plans. Occasional travel (up to 25%) is required to provide on-site data management support for working groups, meetings, and test event execution; individual may be required to be shipboard for 1 to 2 week intervals.

The individual also monitors, maintains, and upgrades systems and networks as needed. The systems and networks include servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, storage, and network management systems. Researches, analyzes, monitors, troubleshoots and resolves server or data network problems.

Skills Required

Minimum of 2 years network or system administration experience in a multi-user environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows servers, systems, and applications environment.
Working knowledge of routers, firewalls, and FTP.
One or more years experience in a data management capacity within a data processing work environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, database entry, and computers.
Experience creating and executing data handling plans.
Highly organized with an eye for detail.
Good interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external customers and vendors. Customer service skills are essential.
Ability to quickly and thoroughly learn complex technical information.
Problem solving skills to troubleshoot varied problems within varied environments.
Ability to multi-task and quickly react to changes in priorities and timelines.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance.
