Under the supervision of Network Administrator, works to assure the functionality of the network and computer systems in order to support CMHA’s business.

Essential Responsibilities and Target Outcomes:

Assists with managing network servers and troubleshooting network related hardware and software problems and software upgrades.

·

Monitors backup, virus protection, and web access.

·

Assists with maintaining user accounts, passwords and network rights with Active Directory and Group Policies.

·

Helps to maintain the inventory of desktop and network devices and software.

·

Provides regular communication updates regarding system performance, maintenance and other computer-related issues.

·

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Principal Customers:
IT staff, CMHA employees.

Critical Work Relationships:
IT staff, CMHA employees, vendors, consultants and contractors.

Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.

Credentials and Licenses:
MCDST, MCP, A+ or comparable IT certification.

Valid

Connecticut

driver’s license.

Experience:
Successful experience or training in the following: Citrix, MS Server, Exchange, network support, server administration, EMR, workstation hardware and software troubleshooting, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Windows, preferably a minimum of two years.
