To provide technical support in the design, development, installation and maintenance of the CIMS computing infrastructure, including hardware and software for CIMS Unix servers and desktop workstations, PC's, Macs, Xterminals, network printers, and instructional audio-visual equipment in a diverse and complex computing environment.
Bachelor's degree and
Degree in computer science or related field.
2 years relevant experience or equivalent combination. Experience must include UNIX system administration, Sun, and Windows O/S. Experience in providing user support for Windows and PC hardware and software.
Experience in a heterogeneous UNIX and PC environment of more than 100 networked nodes and with LINUX.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience. Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
