The Neurocognitive Specialist is responsible for ensuring high quality service and deliverables for Bracket’s neurocognitive assessment product offerings. The Neurocognitive Specialist is responsible for definition of neurocognitive assessment programs, clinical evaluation of associated data, and sponsor communication regarding clinical relevance of data analyses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage cognition reporting and analysis activities
Consult with statistician to define appropriate methods to analyze neurocognitive data.
Conduct clinical review of datasets to assess for data anomalies and provide recommendations to address these via appropriate analysis methods.
Develop interim and final reports to detail the impact of study drug on cognitive performance.
Communicate with sponsors to discuss clinical relevance of neurocognitive data and advise on appropriate methods for interpretation.
Facilitate interaction with other department staff supporting cognition projects to ensure data flow, data processing and review is conducted appropriately.
Management of computerized cognition task specifications, and revision to specifications due to addition of new neurocognitive assessments or enhancements.
Manage quality assurance (QA) processes for all neurocognitive assessment related content.
Support Business Development activities including:
Review of potential protocols and consultation on proposal development for programs that include neurocognitive endpoints.
Consult with sponsors to assess relevant cognitive endpoints and define appropriate neurcognitive assessment tools.
Active participation in the preparation and delivery of business development presentations to potential sponsors.
Attendance at face to face business development efforts such as capabilities presentations, bid defenses, and training events (e.g. Investigator’s Meetings).
Contribute to Bracket’s scientific research effort by proposing research ideas, conducting data analysis and drafting submissions as needed.
Encourage and foster research ideas.
Prepare and present posters, manuscripts, and oral presentations to key publications (e.g. Psychopharmacology Bulletin, Journal of Clinical Psychopharmacology) and conferences (eg. NCDEU, ECNP, etc) in support of Bracket’s publication strategy.
Serve as Product Business Owner (PBO) for internal Bracket products that support neurocognitive assessment services.
Track and report activity associated with neurocognitive programs, including but not limited to project status updates, and activity metrics.
Ensure appropriate resources are available to produce high quality materials in budgeted timelines.
Requirements: (Knowledge, Skills, Experience):
Doctoral Degree, M.D., Ph.D., Psy.D., in healthcare-related field, with 3-4 years of direct clinical trial experience, and expertise in neuropsychological assessment
Direct experience with computerized cognitive assessment preferred
Publication experience in cognitive assessment.
Demonstrated analytical, organization and communication (both oral and written) abilities
Strategic thinker with an ability to develop a point of view given the multiple inputs available
Well organized and detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task
Possess excellent problem solving skills
Self-motivated, disciplined, focused, works well under pressure and able to prioritize work
Familiarity with computers, in particular, Microsoft Office Suite

Creative thinking and problem solving
Ability to travel for business
