Are you more interested in building a legacy than just finding a job?
Do we have a position for you!
WVU School of Medicine, Department of Neurology , seeks an ABPN certified/eligible neurologist who also holds certification or eligibility in Clinical Neurophysiology, Electrodiagnostic Medicine or Neuromuscular Disease. We are interested in candidates who want to lead early and build a legacy while also helping to educate future physicians.
You'll join a talented team of neurologists making an extraordinary difference in the lives of patients not only locally, but across the entire state of West Virginia. There are no hierarchies here. Ours is a collaborative atmosphere that encourages you to grow and evolve as you practice advanced medicine in a highly satisfying academic setting.
The candidate would join three other faculty on the neuromuscular team at WVU and jump into a busy clinical practice as WVU has the only MDA/ALS clinic in the state. Your weekly schedule would consist of 1 day EMG, 2.5 days in clinic and time for research and scholarly pursuits. Inpatient responsibilities are shared and equal 8-10 weeks annually. The department will support your research endeavors with a research and grants coordinator and research nurse. Additional support is also available through the WV Clinical & Translational Science Institute.
U.S. News & World Report ranked West Virginia University Hospitals in Morgantown #1 in the state for the last two years. And Forbes recently ranked Morgantown as one of the Best Small Metros in America. Our area offers the cultural diversity and amenities of a large city in a safe, family-friendly environment. There is also an excellent school system and an abundance of beautiful homes and recreational activities.
Build your legacy as you serve, teach, learn and make a difference from day one. To learn more, visit http://medicine.hsc.wvu.edu/neurology or submit your CV directly to Pam Furbee, Physician Recruiter at firstname.lastname@example.org .
