WHAT THE NEW 42 STREET CAN DO FOR YOU!
Open to college and graduate students, The New 42 Apprentice Program introduces participants to the varied aspects of operating a nonprofit arts organization. This paid apprenticeship is designed to give pre-professionals the tools and strategies to develop a strong foundation for entering the workplace.
What the New 42 can do for you:
Experience LIVE THEATER from around the world
Work with multiple departments through SHADOWING OPPORTUNITIES and weekly SEMINARS& WORKSHOPS
Do MEANINGFUL WORK and take on a diversity of tasks and responsibilities
Get a MENTORSHIP from members of your department
Achieve professional growth through regular meetings focused on TRANSFERABLE JOB SKILLS including resume writing and interview skills
18-20 hours of PAID work per week
Fall, spring and summer terms
Hours available during Monday through Friday,
10am – 6pm
