Summary: This position is responsible for handling the research and establishment of all new account setups in the system. Handles all address maintenance on Customer accounts. Responsible for Customer Service and Sales Rep contact if any questions arise. This position is responsible for the process of daily credit card payments and reconciliation for cash applications. Special projects for Credit Manager, AR and Credit Supervisor.

Essential Duties
  • Setup new customer accounts in the system.
  • Processes Credit Card Receipts for Collection/Payment of Gear and Champion Invoices
  • Maintenance Credit Accounts -Address Changes, set-up of Bill-to, Ship-to Address, terms codes changes, back-up for A/R Changes for other team members, POD and Invoice research
  • Special Projects for Credit Manager and Credit Supervisors
  • Bad Debt Files - Maintains bad debt records, filing system and maintenance of Bad Debt Files and updates.
  • Responds to all inquiries regarding W9 and Credit References.
  • Logs all new accounts and credit lines.

    Physical Demands

    Work Environment
    Works in well lighted, air conditioned/heated office environment

    Minimum Qualifications
    • Previous experience in new account setup is helpful, but is not required.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of Oracle is preferred, but not necessary
