The New Business Development Manager will be responsible for growth and profitability with assigned B2B Technology vertical market to develop and grow new business.
Drive and own market growth strategy for assigned vertical(s). Create, plan and drive new initiatives to accelerate growth
Drive innovative, out of the box approaches to reach key marketing decision makers with an ROI-focused message
Leverage a consultative approach, which requires significant time and effort to educate prospects about QuinStreet's value proposition
Source, solicit, and establish new clients within the target vertical
Grow existing clients, build new relationships throughout client organizations to tap into new marketing budgets
Press for targeted messaging and media to support the vertical development effort
Build business case for new products and services to better support vertical
Leverage Client Services Managers and other staff post sale to ensure strong client outcomes and a productive long term client relationship
Meet and exceed sales targets
Bachelors Degree in business related field; MBA a strong plus
A minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, account management, consulting, media / technical sales
A energetic team player who is self motivated, driven to succeed and looking to be a general manager with P&L responsibilities in 2-4 years
Relevant industry knowledge or experience in the B2B technology market in areas such as storage, networking, security, enterprise software, servers, cloud solutions, mobility solutions
Experience targeting marketing organizations and knowledge of online media business models a plus
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills and who is hungry for direct client contact
A confident, resilient, courageous hunter who exhibits professional and team orientated sales approach; Entrepreneurial mindset a must
