Vaco Technology, Richmond, VA has been engaged by one of our local clients to identify a NEW CIO.
Our Client is a privately held company with over 30 locations across the country. While we are interviewing and considering experienced CIO candidates, we would also like to hear from enthusiastic and energetic IT Executives who believe their next great career move will be into the CIO role. You must have Director or Managerial experience, ideally in the Retail, Leisure or the Restaurant industry and possess a good combination of strategic thinking, tactical execution and technical skills. A Masters Degree in Information Technology or related field is desired, but not mandatory. The ideal candidate should have solid networking and infrastructure experience, exposure to various ERP and POS systems, at minimum, a base understanding of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence and have managed groups or 20 or more.
The Chief Information Officer will develop strong business relationships within the company while providing long term strategic planning and daily oversight of technology operations. The company supports multiple locations nationally and has specific interest in candidates with multi business line support experience, including Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting and Operations.. Additional experience with PCI Compliance, Business Continuity and Information Security Management is desired.
We are seeking a unique individual who can be both strategic planner and tactical manager, someone who has demonstrated in-depth involvement and partnerships within core business operations.
Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, a Bachelors Degree, (Masters preferred) in Information Technology or related field and summary skills as outlined.
