The New Patient Coordinator of the Integrated Pelvic Health Program works in a multidisciplinary environment which requires exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, clinical and administrative departments.
In this role, the New Patient Coordinator is primarily responsible for triaging all new patient calls to the center's outpatient practice. Telephone triage includes working with patients to schedule appointments with appropriate physicians for their diagnosis; coordinating multiple appointments between specialists if necessary; obtaining demographic, referral and insurance information; and obtaining a brief medical history with diagnosis. The New Patient Coordinator will assist the patient in finding the appropriate physician for their diagnosis. The New Patient Coordinator also provides the patients with information about physicians, as well as information about departmental resources and services, and what to bring and what to expect for the first appointment.

License/Certification: CPR, IL RN
