The company, based in Chicago, serves more than 400,000 users a month and, following a second round of venture funding, much of it from Morningstar, is preparing to accelerate its already-rapid growth. A daily email delivers news content to registered users and YCharts articles are syndicated on the web, distributed through Google Finance, Yahoo Finance, Forbes.com, SeekingAlpha, Motley Fool and more. A long-time Wall Street Journal editor and reporter is in place as YCharts ’ editor.

YCharts seeks experienced financial wire service reporters for work in the Chicago office. Must possess a keen interest in the stock market and the broader economy and have a desire to dig into corporate disclosures. Candidates should have strong work habits, deadline writing skills and the ability to go beyond obvious observations most frequently gleaned from company disclosures. Pay commensurate with experience.
